Definitely, one of the most common questions I receive on my Instagram account @miksadev is, "Do you have any good Webflow tutorials for XYZ to recommend?" Given this, I'm thrilled because I'm writing a blog precisely on this topic. It will be great to compile everything in one place so that people can choose courses as they wish, and it will also free me from the endless task of responding on Instagram. Jokes aside, I'd first love to remind people once more, why they should learn Webflow and why it's a "goldmine" in the NoCode world. So, with that said, let's dive deeper into this meticulous blog.

Why should you learn Webflow?

As time progresses, you yourselves notice that the whole world is becoming more dynamic, and the big players in marketing, SAAS, and generally in the IT world mostly reach for faster development solutions to stay a step ahead of their competition. These solutions, apart from needing to be faster than traditional development, must also be scalable, secure, and capable of offering a high level of flexibility and customization. Webflow is exactly one of such tools.

Since its creation in 2012 (or 2013 as said on Wikipedia), Webflow has managed to amass a user base of over 3.5 million people, a figure that, you'll agree, is not to be underestimated. This number is fully justified thanks to the capabilities that Webflow provides as a Visual NoCode Development platform. The advantages of Webflow over other platforms like WordPress have been recognized by some of the world's biggest platforms like Upwork, Amazon, Memberstack, Michael Kors, Bonsai... If these large enterprises, which have annual revenues exceeding $100+ million, have seen what advantages Webflow has to offer, you'll agree that learning Webflow is indeed not a mistake.

Job market

How could I discuss "why you should learn Webflow?" without mentioning jobs and job opportunities? Without this, the blog wouldn't be complete. I can confidently tell you that if you learn Webflow, there is work available, even more than you might think. Recall the previous paragraphs where I talked about how large enterprise companies are looking for fast and scalable solutions for websites; learn Webflow, and you'll be able to offer them just such a solution. If you're interested in learning more about what you can specifically do as a Webflow Developer, I highly recommend reading my Webflow Careers blog.

Precisely because Webflow has been recognized by large enterprise firms and entrepreneurs who mainly generate income through websites, I wrote this blog to guide you on how and where you can learn Webflow. And one more thing, each of the tutorials mentioned is COMPLETELY FREE.

Web design and HTML5, CSS3 tutorials for beginners

Okay, I said I'd talk about Webflow tutorials, and this title definitely doesn't include Webflow in it, why is that? Well, first of all, to even start discussing Webflow itself, we first need to understand how it works in the background, what it exactly manipulates, on what basis we're creating pages, and why design is an inseparable part of Webflow?

Webflow CMS tutorials

Many people aren't aware of how powerful Webflow's CMS actually is and how much it can save clients from potential headaches and additional costs. Although Webflow's CMS has certain limitations and is on average more expensive than, say, WordPress, Webflow as a CMS solution doesn't require any plugins. This is important for two reasons: first, you don't need to spend extra money to get a quality plugin for your CMS system; and second, since there are no plugins, there are no additional security threats that come with their use, so you don't need to constantly watch out for them, update them, and so on.

Webflow eCommerce tutorials

What I'd like to mention once again is that, while Webflow might not always be the best solution for e-commerce stores that see huge traffic and have a lot of products (something like BestBuy, Walmart, Amazon, etc.), for e-commerce that sells products from a specific niche or one-product page stores, Webflow dominates with its customization capabilities. Given this, I've selected for you tutorials that I personally watched when it comes to e-commerce.

Setting up an Ecommerce store | Webflow Ecommerce series

Webflow Users tutorials

Membership allows you to create gated content, and with Webflow memberships (User Accounts feature), we can create incredible experiences for users and boost conversions. Why do memberships matter? Well, let's say you're selling an educational program or your services through a monthly subscription. Wouldn't it be better if you could create gated content that only shows to users who've paid for a membership? Also, the whole membership and credit-based services have been gaining popularity in recent months,ss so it's your duty as a Webflow developer to stay on track and follow the dominant trends in the no-code world.

Note: What I first want to emphasize is that this tutorial isn't the freshest and it actually explains the User Accounts Feature while it was still in its Beta version. However, the main role and the idea of how the membership feature functions within Webflow is explained.

Short Summary: In this saved Live session, you’ll learn the basic functionalities of the membership feature in Webflow. From the initial concept to what can be achieved with the Webflow membership feature. It also covers parts about login options, creating gated content, GDPR compliance, and many other aspects seen in membership sites.

Recommended for: People who are well-acquainted with Webflow and want to understand how to properly use the Membership feature

Webflow Logic tutorials

Every platform that offers web development capabilities aims to have its own solution for automations, and Webflow is no different. Thanks to the Logic feature, you can perform simpler tasks without using external automation platforms, such as creating and updating certain CMS items, interacting with external APIs, and sending email notifications. However, it's important to mention that this isn't an all-in-one solution for all automations, but rather for the most straightforward ones. For more complex automations, you'll still need to use an external automation platform like Zapier or Make.
